Dr. Zaid Faraji
At Del Mar Dental Arts, we are thrilled to introduce you to Dr. Faraji! He loves giving people from all walks of life the confidence they deserve with a brand-new smile and getting to know all of the dental office’s patients over time, both new and old. He is also extremely committed to providing high-quality dental care that also relates to a person’s total wellbeing and quality of life. To learn more about him, just continue reading below.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Faraji graduated from the University of California School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He would eventually go on to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and complete a residency at the Louisiana State University and the state’s Alleghany Health Network. Today, he is currently a member of multiple professional dental organizations, including the:
- American Dental Association
- California Dental Association
- American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Faraji has also volunteered with the American Red Cross and took part in a mission trip to Haiti, where he provided dental services to communities in need.
What Do You Like to Do Outside the Practice?
When he’s not working, Dr. Faraji enjoys staying active outdoors by playing sports like soccer, snowboarding, traveling and biking. He first began playing soccer in college and hasn’t stopped since! Today, he’s even a coach for youth soccer teams. His favorite sports team is Manchester United. You’ll also find him reading about history and watching movies, including some of his favorites like Saving Private Ryan and The Pianist.
