Inlays/Onlays

Inlays and onlays are often referred to as “partial crowns.” We use them to repair teeth that are too damaged to be fixed with a filling, but don’t require a complete overhaul with a crown. Made of natural-looking porcelain, these restorations allow our team to preserve as much healthy enamel as possible while restoring a tooth, which leads to a stronger result. Onlays are used to repair multiple sides of a tooth including the cusps, or biting surfaces, while inlays can replace any damaged enamel within the cusps.
