What Happens if I Do Nothing?

While a single missing tooth (especially one towards the back of the mouth) might seem like a minor problem, untreated tooth loss always leads to more issues. Eventually, the teeth near the gap will shift into it, which can cause them to misalign and lead to chronic jaw pain. Gum disease is also a big probability, which can actually erode the bone that supports the remaining teeth. These risks (and many others) are why it’s always smart to replace any missing teeth as soon as possible.
