Fluoride Treatments

You don’t have to look too hard to find fluoride. It’s added to most toothpaste and public water sources, and we also use it here every day to help our patients avoid pesky cavities. At someone’s regular checkup, we can briefly coat their teeth with a highly-concentrated fluoride paste to fortify their enamel and make it more resistant to decay. This is excellent for younger patients who are still learning how to brush, and it can also be a big help for adults who are prone to developing cavities.
